A strong training provider does more than bring a ready-made module. It should understand participants, required outcomes and how learning will translate into action after the programme.

1. Start with the objective, not the course title
Before requesting a quotation, define the problem or outcome: team communication, leadership, digital skills, marketability, entrepreneurship or team engagement. This helps providers propose a relevant format.
2. Review the methodology
Ask how needs assessment, programme design, interactive learning, practice, action planning and reflection will be used. ARG’s own Corporate Profile 2026 follows this flow.
3. Look for evidence and local context
A portfolio relevant to Sarawak, agencies, education, SMEs or communities helps show the provider understands participant realities and local logistics.
4. Evaluate facilitator fit
Facilitators should fit the topic and participant group. For leadership, entrepreneurship or motivational programmes, look at actual experience rather than titles alone.
5. Ensure learning ends with action
A strong programme should close with at least an action plan, reflection or next step participants can bring back to work.
